Top Five Wedding Colors For Spring 2016

As one of the most important events in our lives, our weddings surely deserve second consideration on every part, especially the wedding color schemes. This spring we’ll see some breathtaking wedding color ideas with these colors. Check out the following trending wedding color palettes in spring 2016.

Pink is a classic color used in wedding decorations and the first trending wedding color in 2016 is Rose Quartz, which is a shade of pink color. The soothing, calming nature of colors in the Spring collections are led by Rose Quartz, a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure.

As a shade of orange, Peach Echo is another trending wedding color in the year 2016, which emanates friendlier qualities, evoking warmth and accessibility. Matched with pink and gold will successfully add a touch of romance to it.

This shade of light blue color will make every part of the wedding day so comfortable, just like the blue sky above us, making it a pastel color palette with peach.

While the majority of the Spring/Summer palette trends toward calmness, a few diversions from the theme emerge that offer a contrast. With Buttercup designers reveal a shining beacon transporting its wearer to a happier, sunnier place. I added some purple to make them a perfect match.

As a shade of aqua, this Limpet Shell can tell us what’s it like in spring. Suggestive of clarity and freshness, its crisp and modern influences evoke a deliberate, mindful tranquility.

Everything About This Christmas

Snowman Door

It was SO simple to make!  I just used my Creative Memories Circle maker and cut out the eyes at the biggest circle I had.  Then I cut out 9 more little circles, 5 for the mouth and 4 for the buttons (I had some kid help putting those on the door:-)), Then I free hand cut the scarf using some 12x24 Christmas paper I had, I love the candy cane paper that came in the pack.  The nose was cut using a 8 1/2x 11 piece of orange paper from Stampin UP!

A big part of the fun of Christmas parties is in dressing up and preparing for it. What you wear, however, can have a big impact on how you are perceived by others and, ultimately, on how comfortable you feel at the party.

How to Dress Properly for A Christmas Party

A big part of the fun of Christmas parties is in dressing up and preparing for it. What you wear, however, can have a big impact on how you are perceived by others and, ultimately, on how comfortable you feel at the party. Read on to learn how to dress for a Christmas party.

Find out in advance if there is a dress code for the party. If the Christmas party is being held in a restaurant, theater or rented space, the organizers can probably tell you what they expect the atmosphere to be. Even just a general idea, such as casual attire, black tie or formal will guide you in your selection of clothes.

Dress casual unless you have an indication that the Christmas party will be formal. Casual, however, does not mean jeans and a white T-shirt. Instead, pair the jeans with a nice blouse or a pastel shirt and a pair of boots or sandals.

Wear something red or gold, the traditional colors of Christmas. Avoid holiday sweaters or anything overly Christmas related. Instead, wear an elegant accessory such as a shawl or jewelry in the right colors.

Dress Tips for Your Christmas Dinner

Christmas dinner is an opportunity to spend time with loved ones and enjoy good food. You should dress appropriately, not only to be respectful of the holiday and to those attending the dinner but so you will also be comfortable and stylish.

Leave your hair pinned back away from your face. You're going to be leaning over to eat and conversing with other people, so hair being in your eyes could be a big nuisance if you have to keep pushing it out of the way. Consider keeping your hair to the side and out of eyes.

Wear a top that has the proper-sized sleeves. If you are sitting next to someone, big flowy sleeves could end up getting in their way of eating. In addition, when you are trying to eat, flowy sleeves or sleeves that are too long can end up getting in your food. They could end up getting stained, especially with all of the rich foods that people usually eat during Christmas dinner.

Wear comfortable shoes. If there is a chance you're going to be standing and socializing quite a bit before and after dinner, consider wearing shoes that won't hurt your feet after 20 minutes. Also, if you feel you may be extremely full from dinner, having to walk in uncomfortable shoes will make the discomfort that much worse. Consider wearing ballet flats, kitten heels or high heels that are comfy. In addition, make sure to break your shoes in before wearing them to avoid any pain.

How to Dress to Your Christmas Party

Err on the side of discretion. If you are wearing a skirt, keep it knee-length or longer. Bring a jacket or a large scarf to wrap around your shoulders. This is an especially good idea if you don’t know the people at the party and there’s a chance you can be over or underdressed in comparison.

Wear something red or gold, the traditional colors of Christmas. Avoid holiday sweaters or anything overly Christmas related. Instead, wear an elegant accessory such as a shawl or jewelry in the right colors.
