Dress Color Code for Mother of the Bride

Wedding day is not only a big day for the brides, but also for mother of the bride. The mother of the bride needs to achieve a stunning and modest look on her daughter's big day. But before choosing an appropriate mother of the the bride dress, mothers should get a clear idea about the wedding colors and the preferred style at least a month ago, and then decide what to wear.

Wear Wedding Color
Wearing the same color as the bridesmaid dresses, or the bride's chosen colors are the best way to show you are a member of the wedding party. I believe you can catch an attractive look in the wedding photographs.

Neutral Shades
Wearing neutral tones such as beige, gray, and blue shades that suit mothers. This is a safe way for mothers to attain a modest as well as a stunning look.
Light colors are preferred for Spring or Summer weddings, while darker colors are more suitable for Fall or Winter weddings.

Colors to Avoid
Colors that are too bright like hot pink or lime are usually regarded as inappropriate. Extreme colors like red and black are also not recommended.
